Based in Yorkshire, UK, The Culinary Cottage is run by me, Inês - I’m a keen but amateur photographer and my main aim in life is to inspire happier times around your table. I want to teach you all things hosting, homewear and homely cooking, so please, follow along wherever you’d like to join me.
Food isn’t just fuel.
It’s also a feeling. It’s home, wherever that may be, however long you’ve been there, whatever you’re eating.
It’s who you’re with, how you’re eating, what you’re eating on, the stories being told as you eat, and all the smells and sounds you can hear around your plate. The laughter, the jazz, the sweet but subtle candle burning in the background. Food is, fundamentally, an experience for every sense of the body.
Food is so much more than just fuel.
